Kudos to students and faculty in the Higher Education Leadership program who participated in the Wisconsin College Professional Association's annual conference, held Oct. three-four in Wisconsin Dells. Courtney Luedke, assistant professor in curriculum and instruction, and graduate students Le Racha Simon and Allayah Manns, presented "Keepin' it 100: Supporting Kickoff-Gen Students of Color." Graduate student Holly Anderson was the co-winner of the Annual Case Study Competition. Graduate pupil Matt Denney presented ii workshops, "Non all Supervisors wearable Capes: Beraking the Supervisor Stigma" and "West Declension to Wisconsin: College every bit a Brand." Denney won the All-time Presentation award.
Kudos to Anene Okocha and Olam Bamgbose, from the Counselor Education Department, who traveled to Vienna, Austria Sept. 27-28 to take function in the European Branch of American Counseling Association's 60th Annual Conference. They gave their presentation, "Exploring Intersection of Traditional and Contemporary Mental Health Practices in Nigeria."
Kudos to Jo Ann Oravec, professor of information technology and supply chain direction, who will present "Polygraphs, AI Truth Machines, and Encephalon Scanning: Lie Detection Technologies and Ubiquitous Honesty Themes in Film" at the annual Picture & History Briefing on Nov. xiv in Madison.
